Remastered from first-generation session tapes at Soundmirror Inc., Boston MA

These sessions were recorded to 2-track quarter-inch tape on an RCA RT-21 tape machine running at 30 inches per second.

Munch’s endearing interpretation of the Pastoral Symphony joins a passionate Fifth on a cherished example of the Boston Symphony’s aristocratic artistry. The ensemble and the conductor perform with scintillating precision, truly embracing the works.
