Big Band Bossa Nova was American jazz and swing artist Quincy Jones' 1962 album. The record, as the title suggests, was based upon the styles of the Brazilian music known as bossa nova. Big Band Bossa Nova produced the popular single "Soul Bossa Nova", later used as the theme music for popular comedic films Austin Powers. The album also includes, "Boogie Stop Shuffle" and "Manhã De Carnaval (Morning Of The Carnival)".
