Released in 1991, Blood Sugar Sex Magik is the fifth studio album by Red Hot Chili Peppers and was produced by Rick Rubin. It hit #3 on the US Billboard 200 chart and has sold over 13 million copies worldwide. Hit singles from the record include "Give It Away", "Under the Bridge", "Suck My Kiss", and "Breaking the Girl". It is considered by many to be the best album ever made by the band.
