(Deluxe Edition)

Dept. Of Disappearance is the reflective sophomore solo album from Jason Lytle. Lytle is the founder, singer-songwriter and instrumentalist of psychedelic-pop band, Grandaddy. His latest effort is packed with the haunting melodies that earned Lytle a legion of devoted fans. The work engages listeners with its widespread production and layered arrangements. Standouts include the guitar-based “Matterhorn,” the breezy “Get Up and Go” and the compelling “Willow Wand Willow Wand.”

Reviews
4 stars out of 5 “ Lytle is making a claim to be one of the more interesting and consistent singer/songwriters around; willing to take sonic chances, but always delivering music that's as much about feel as it is about meaning. - All Music
