Don Juan's Reckless Daughter is Joni Mitchell's ninth studio album and was released in 1977. A double album, it expanded on the experimental jazz fusion sound found on Mitchell's previous album, Hejira. The album also featured members of Weather Report, Jaco Pastorius and Wayne Shorter. Jaco helped to produce much of the record. Although Don Juan's Reckless Daughter had mixed reviews when it first came out, the album did manage to peak at #25 on the Billboard charts and was certified gold by the RIAA.
