Gustav Mahler: Symphony No. 2 in C minor, "Resurrection"

David Zinman leads the internationally-lauded Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich in a stirring recording of Mahler's second symphony, the "Resurrection". The Symphony was written between 1888 and 1894, and first performed in 1895. One of Mahler's most popular symphonies during his lifetime, it was his first major work that would eventually mark his lifelong obsession with the afterlife and resurrection.
