Bruno Coulais’ score for Himalaya is a collection of cleverly written pieces that mixes orchestral and traditional sounds to transport the listener into the vast and beautiful Tibetan mountain landscapes. The score includes traditional Tibetan monk songs. The soundtrack features A Filetta, (an all-male singing group that performs traditional music from Corsica), and Tsering Lodoe (a traditional music and dance instructor for the children’s Tibetan Language and Culture Class sponsored by the Tibetan). He was personally selected by Bruno Coulais to perform on the soundtrack.
