Piano: J.B. Floyd
Baritone: Thomas Buckner
Drums: George Marsh

J.B. Floyd has a well-established reputation as a pianist, composer, and improviser, and this album gives all three facets a chance to shine. Floyd composed In Crossing The Busy Street for Thomas Buckner, with whom he has frequently collaborated. The text is from a Poem by Daniel Abdal-Hayy Moore, and the musical material from the piece is used as the basis for a series of improvisations. In working with drummer George Marsh, another long-time musical collaborator of Floyd's, they created the second work on the album, Improvisations on In Crossing The Busy Street.
