Ron Carter is considered by many as one of the most influential bassists in Jazz history. He has been recorded on more than 1,000 albums, has scored and arranged music for films, has won two Grammy Awards, holds a master's degree in double bass from the Manhattan School of Music, and currently is a lecturer at City College of New York.
