Originally from Germany, but currently living in sunny California, Chris Huelsbeck has composed and produced top rated computer and video game soundtracks since 1986. Born in 1968 in Kassel/Germany, Chris found himself dedicated to music at a very young age. He started piano lessons at the age of 5, but didn't like the traditional way of music education and quit after 2 years. However, he kept playing the piano and learned composing music by himself. In his early teens he got also interested in personal computers and started programming his own games and music on the legendary Commodore 64. A few years later he won the first prize in a computer-music contest sponsored by a famous German computer magazine. This was the beginning of his career as a professional composer for computer and video game soundtracks. With music for over 70 titles incl. Top Hit Games like "Star Wars - Rogue Leader" and "Star Wars - Rebel Strike", Chris Huelsbeck has made his mark in the industry and keeps pushing the boundaries of audio in Video Game Entertainment. Recently his music has also been performed by world class Symphonic Orchestras in Europe.
