Guitarist Milos Karadaglic has returned with his highly anticipated sophomore recording, Pasion. The extraordinary musician enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2011 being named Gramophone’s “Young Artist of the Year.” His latest recording focuses its efforts on an extensive program which includes new arrangements for hits such as Gardel’s “Por una cabeza,” Piazzolla’s “Libertango” and the folk classic “Quizas, quizas, quizas.” Also included is Karadaglic’s breathtaking rendition of Villa-Lobos’ Prelude No.1, a tune he has performed across the world. The album proves why Karadaglic is one of music’s most exciting prospects.
