Gold is the second studio albums by Ryan Adams and was originally released on September 25, 2001. Produced by Ethan Johns, the album became Adams' best-selling record, peaking at #59 on the US Albums chart and #20 in the UK. Adams received three Grammy Award nominations in 2002: Best Rock Album, Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for "New York, New York", and Best Male Country Vocal Performance for "Lovesick Blues".
