Calvin Massey ranks among the greatest jazz composers of all time. He is noted for his epic work “The Black Liberation Movement Suite,” an extended work of nine movements, which until now have never been recorded in its entirety. “The Black Liberation Movement Suite” is an undiscovered gem and one of the greatest jazz suites of the 20th century.
