Voyages is the highly anticipated EMI Classics debut for Conrad Tao. At the age of eighteen, Tao has already accomplished more than most classical musicians do in a lifetime. The multi-instrumentalist and composer has won the ASCAP Young Composer Award eight years in a row, the Gilmore Young Artist prize and was the only classical musician on Forbes Magazine’s “30 Under 30” in 2011. The album explores the unpredictable nature of movement. It features compositions by Ravel, Monk, Rachmaninov and Tao.
