"Yr a oydo" is an old Spanish expression meaning "going by heart" and is the name of More Hispano's latest innovative project lead by the recorder player Vicente Parrilla. The young Spanish Ensemble presents Ancient Music of early 17th century Spain and Italy, completely improvised but not without cherishing the skills of historic performance - a goal that is as ambitious as it is unique.

Among the musicians are Fahmi Alquai, Viola da Gamba and the soprano Raquel Andueza who also sings with L'Arpeggiata under Christina Pluhar.

Reviews
MORE HISPANO comprises some of the most talented Spanish musicians of their generation. [¦] Yr a Oydo is one of the most exceptional and powerful contributions that any Spanish ensemble has made to the discography of Ancient Music.
